Job summary

Freedom Village of Holland Michigan is seeking a Front Desk On Call employee to manage incoming calls, assist residents and visitors, and support daily concierge operations.

The role requires English fluency, a Michigan chauffeur license, and the ability to obtain CPR/AED certification. Expect on-call shifts that include daytime and overnight hours; driving residents to activities and appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL preferred but not necessary.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Valid Michigan Chauffeur's Driver License required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification.
• Proficiency with various computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer and transfer all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Assist residents, staff, guests and vendors with information and directions.
• Open and close the front desk; secure files, keys and equipment.
• Transport residents to scheduled activities and medical appointments.
• Record payments, reservations and cancellations as directed.
• Communicate messages clearly to the business office and other parties.
• Attend in-service training and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Report for duty during emergencies or disasters as needed.
