Job summary

The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living in Montgomery County, MD, is seeking a Front Desk Associate. You will be the first point of contact for residents, families and candidates, setting a warm tone and ensuring a welcoming environment on an on-call basis (PRN).

Responsibilities include greeting residents, handling inquiries, coordinating emergencies, maintaining census accuracy and dispatching mail and packages.

Qualifications

• Receptionist experience required.
• Excellent verbal skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Able to work on an on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct residents, visitors and staff, handling questions and concerns promptly.
• Receive emergency calls from residents and staff and dispatch appropriate personnel; page on-call physicians as needed in a calm manner.
• Monitor emergency pull cords for Independent Living residents.
• Track status of residents involved in incidents and coordinate hospital transfers as needed.
• Manage resident lists alphabetically and by apartment, and assist with census accuracy and returns.
• Log all resident packages and notify residents of pickups; sort and distribute inter-office mail.
