Job summary

Ocean View Hotel is seeking a Front Desk Agent on-call, part-time in Santa Monica. You’ll greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, and ensure a personable stay while delivering outstanding guest service and contributing to profitability.

Responsibilities include assisting with room assignments, processing payments, and promoting hotel services. Prior hotel front desk experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a Guest Services role or similar hospitality exposure.
• Experience with front desk operations and guest check-in/out preferred.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and perform check-in/out, input and retrieve guest information.
• Promote hotel services, up-sell available facilities, and manage guest requests.
• Handle payments, process transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Maintain professional communication with guests and staff across departments.
