Job summary

MGM Grand Las Vegas is seeking an on-call Food & Beverage Steward to support kitchen operations. The role involves washing and sanitizing dishes, maintaining clean stewarding areas, and assisting with waste and inventory tasks to ensure a safe, efficient environment.

The position requires 6+ months of stewarding experience, a valid Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain), and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of prior relevant experience in stewarding or a similar role.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card upon hire.
• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms.

Responsibilities

• Perform dishwashing and sanitation duties using a three-compartment sink or dish/pot machines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and stewarding areas, surfaces, floors and equipment.
• Handle operational tasks including removing trash, maintaining linen inventory, and transporting items.
• Report equipment issues and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
