MGM Resorts International seeks an on-call Food & Beverage Steward at Park MGM in Las Vegas to keep kitchens running smoothly, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and support culinary teams with dishwashing and sanitation.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to health and safety standards, and flexibility to cover peak periods. The starting rate is $25.0552 per hour.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6+ months of relevant experience in stewarding or completion of Culinary Training Academy preferred.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card upon hire.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written forms.

Responsabilidades

• Perform dishwashing and sanitation duties using a three-compartment sink or dish/pot machines, returning items to storage locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and stewarding areas; clean surfaces, floors, and equipment.
• Handle operational support tasks including trash removal, linen inventory, and transporting items around the property.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards (SNHD, OSHA, Fire Department) and report equipment issues.

THE JOB:

As an on-call Food & Beverage Steward at Park MGM, you'll play a key role in keeping our kitchens running smoothly by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. In this fast-paced position, you'll support culinary teams by washing and sanitizing dishes, equipment, and work areas, handling waste and inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Your attention to detail and teamwork will help deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

THE STARTING RATE: $25.0552 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Perform dishwashing and sanitation duties by collecting, breaking down, spraying, loading, and unloading dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a three (3)-compartment sink or dish/pot machines, and returning items to proper storage locations; maintain appropriate chemical levels in all dishwashing and dispensing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and stewarding areas by cleaning surfaces (baseboards, drains, sinks, tables, cutting boards), sweeping and mopping floors, washing mats, and cleaning equipment such as dish machines, ice machines, prep tables, hot boxes, and refrigerators
• Handle operational support tasks including removing trash and garbage (and assisting with biohazard cleanup when required), maintaining linen inventory, polishing equipment, and transporting items such as hot/cold boxes, speed racks, and carts throughout the property
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., SNHD, OSHA, Fire Department), complete required training, safely operate equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, pallet jacks, forklifts, power washers), and report any equipment issues to a supervisor

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 6+ months of prior relevant experience in stewarding or a similar role, or completion of a Culinary Training Academy certification preferred
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card upon hire
• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms
