Job summary

Summit Fire & Security LLC is seeking an Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision. The role requires knowledge of NFPA codes, strong customer service, and the ability to train others.

You will coordinate inspections, report deficiencies to customers, and work with internal teams and monitoring companies. On-call duties and safety program participation are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent, required.
• NICET and/or state required certification based on location, preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
• SalesForce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes.
• Record and report deficiencies of fire protection systems to SFS and Customers.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and monitoring companies professionally.
• Operate inspection tools such as heat/smoke detectors, backflow, and pumps.
• Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled.
• Be on-call as required by location for emergencies and inspections.
• Follow safety programs and participate in toolbox talks; train inspectors.
• Other duties may be assigned.
