Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. seeks a compassionate Family Resource Liaison to support families through services, outreach, and programs that strengthen relationships. The role offers an on-call, community-based schedule with evenings and weekends as needed.

You will provide supervised visitation, assist the Family Resource Center team with activities, and connect families to community resources that promote healthy development and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with two years related experience.
• Experience working with children and families preferred.
• Willingness to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.
• On-call basis with short notice.
• Level One Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised visitation services that foster a safe environment.
• Support the Family Resource Center team with community activities, classes, workshops, and support groups.
• Participate in community outreach such as resource fairs and family events.
• Connect families to community resources for child development and well-being.
• Assist with administrative tasks: data entry, scheduling, documentation, and communication with families.
• Encourage positive parent-child interactions and empower parents.
• Administer hearing, vision, and developmental screenings.
• Respond to coverage requests with evenings and weekends as needed.
