Job summary

OUR Center is a Colorado-based community organization seeking a Resource Specialist to build nurturing relationships, assess needs, and connect families with services to promote self-sufficiency.

Reporting to the Family Development Services Manager, you will coordinate service plans, document intake and case data, and collaborate with community partners to expand access to benefits for local residents. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; office hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum one year of case management experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience using Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants to establish goals and promote self-sufficiency.
• Coordinate service plans and document case data in the database.
• Connect participants with community resources and pre-eligibility benefits.
• Evaluate eligibility and provide financial assistance with support from FDSM.
• Collaborate with community partners to refer and transfer services.
• Attend partner meetings and trainings as required.
