Sunset in Glendale, Arizona is seeking a Family Resource Center Liaison (Part-Time) to provide outreach to families with children birth to five and connect them to early literacy programs and parent support services.

The role requires using the employee's own vehicle, maintaining a clean driving record and insurance, and coordinating resources with multiple schools. This 20-hour-per-week position offers community-based engagement and data-oriented responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with parents, schools and community.
• Two years experience working with parents/families and community members.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).

Responsibilities

• Provides outreach to families with children birth to five to connect them with early literacy programs and resources.
• Coordinates community resources and partnerships for families with young children.
• Assists in coordinating parent education activities and enrollment in WRIC programs.
• Facilitates parent education workshops and family learning activities.
• Collaborates with the WESD Social Services Department to coordinate resources for all 32 schools.
• Attends family engagement activities and relevant trainings; supports data reporting and program planning.
