Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician in College Station, TX. The role involves maintaining the property, performing preventive maintenance, and preparing apartments for turnovers to ensure safety and reliability of buildings and equipment.

You will deliver strong customer service in a fast-paced, collegiate environment, documenting work, coordinating with vendors and staff, and supporting after-hours operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or intention to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and reduce liability.
• Execute maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Facilities team.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance/repair in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in assuring all service requests are completed daily.
• Document work performed and parts used with legible notes, date, and signature.
• Promote positive relations with residents, staff, contractors, and management.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and basic repairs (appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical).
