Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair apartments and common areas across properties. You will respond to service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare units for turnovers while ensuring safety and high service standards.

The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and a strong customer service mindset in a fast-paced campus-adjacent environment. This full-time position includes benefits and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intent to obtain within six months.
• Strong communication and safety mindset.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
• Able to stand 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property's physical condition per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to preserve assets and minimize liability.
• Execute maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Facilities team.
• Perform minor routine maintenance and repairs promptly.
• Assist in completing service requests and document work with notes.
• Promote positive relations with residents, staff, contractors, and management.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and basic repairs (appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical).
• Complete routine cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work area.
