Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain the property’s buildings and equipment, respond to maintenance requests, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for turnovers. This role emphasizes strong customer service and proactive problem solving.

You will follow SOPs and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with residents, contractors, and management. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; CPO is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and a safety-conscious attitude.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition following SOPs, OSHA guidelines, and industry standards.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Assist in completing service requests and document work with notes and materials used.
• Coordinate with residents, contractors, and management to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Carry out basic appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work as needed.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and keep work area clean.
