Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician II at a College Station property. The role focuses on responding to maintenance requests, preventive maintenance, and preparing apartments for turnovers to ensure safety and optimal service for residents.

Qualified candidates will have several years of general maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA 608 certification, and CPO or plan to obtain within six months. Expect a fast-paced, on-site environment with after-hours responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma required.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 certification (Core, Type I, II & III) required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of key management and security systems.
• Safety-conscious with ability to meet deadlines and flexible for after-hours/weekend emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to access computer programs (Entrata, CMMS, BAS) and learn systems.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in Building Automation Systems (BAS), Entrata and CMMS for logging of service requests.
• Maintain property buildings and equipment per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding maintenance to minimize liabilities.
• Operate life safety systems monitoring, testing, and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate with Vendors and the Supervisor on schedules and maintenance objectives.
• Diagnose and repair routine maintenance tasks and document work performed.
