The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician II to maintain property conditions, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare units for turnovers. You will ensure safety and reliability of building systems in a fast-paced, college environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Eligible candidates possess HVAC/EPA 608 certification, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of full-time general maintenance experience.
• HVAC/EPA 608 certification (Core, Type I, II & III).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO), or intention to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of key management and security systems.
• Knowledge of safety procedures with punctuality and dependability.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to The Scion Group's SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and related features, minimizing liability.
• Assume responsibility for operating, system monitoring/diagnostics, and preventative testing for major building systems.
• Monitor life safety systems (fire pumps, alarms, sprinklers, detectors, extinguishers, emergency lighting, means of egress).
• Assist in creating emergency and disaster preparedness plans.
• Maintain key management protocols and security, and escort vendors as required.
• Coordinate maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Manager or Supervisor.
• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance and repairs in a timely, professional manner.
