Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician II with HVAC experience to respond to maintenance requests, perform preventive tasks, and prepare apartments for turnovers. You will help maintain safety and functionality of the property and work in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

Required are 3–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA 608 certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to learn Entrata, CMMS, Building Automation, and Digital Control systems.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience and EPA 608 certification.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs and safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and coordinate with vendors.
• Monitor life safety systems and document testing.
• Assist in emergency and disaster preparedness planning.
• Access key management and security protocols when on site.
• Coordinate schedules with the Facilities Manager and vendors.
• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance/repair in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure all service requests are completed.
