Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician II to maintain and repair property systems, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for turnovers. This role requires hands-on technical skill, strong problem solving, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

You will work under the Facilities Supervisor, ensuring safety, reliability, and quality service for residents while coordinating with vendors and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years of full-time maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 certification (Core, Type I, II & III) required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of key management and security systems.
• Willingness to travel and stand for long periods; after-hours availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain building systems for safety and functionality.
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and coordinate with vendors.
• Document work completed and materials used with detailed notes.
