Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician II to support maintenance and repair services across our properties in a fast-paced, collegiate setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, prepare apartments for turnovers, and ensure safety and functionality of building systems.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification (EPA 608), and a valid driver’s license. The role requires after-hours availability and may involve travel between properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 3–5 years of full-time maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification (EPA 608) required (Core, Type I, II & III).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear communication and dependable punctuality are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical condition of the property per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist in emergency/disaster preparedness planning as required by management.
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule work with Facilities Manager or Supervisor.
• Respond to service requests promptly and ensure tasks are completed to standard.
