Port of Morrow is seeking an on-call Event Assistant to support a variety of events at the SAGE Center. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include setup, guest greeting, guest services, and assisting with AV equipment. Candidates should be 18+, have a high school diploma, and be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Background check will be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces and equipment.
• Greet guests and provide general event support.
• Monitor event spaces to ensure smooth logistics and guest needs.
• Assist with audio-visual equipment and lighting when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized event environment.
• Respond to client and guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Follow safety and security protocols during events.
