Job summary

ASM Global-SMG is seeking a part-time event support team member to assist with event setups, changeovers, and various operational tasks. You will move tables, chairs, risers, bleachers, and other equipment between spaces as directed by supervision.

Responsibilities include installing and removing floor coverings and pipe & drape, minor painting, and snow removal. The role requires flexibility, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work irregular hours based on events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs overhead and push/pull 50 lbs.
• Bend, squat and work in awkward positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setups, changeovers and operational tasks as directed by the manager or supervisor.
• Move tables, chairs, risers, bleachers, staging and other furniture between event spaces and storage as directed.
• Installation and removal of floor coverings, pipe & drape, bike rack, etc.
• Painting as needed.
• Snow removal.
• Physical work/heavy lifting is common and required.
• Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
• All other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
