Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking Emergency Management Specialists to join our Response Cadre on an on-call basis. Candidates must deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notice and stay on-site for at least 30 days to support client incident objectives and coordinate with partner agencies.

We require at least five years in emergency management, a bachelor's degree or higher, and proficiency with MS Office; ICS/NIMS training is preferred. Comprehensive benefits and paid leave are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• At least five years of professional emergency management experience.
• Ability to deploy within 24–72 hours and remain on-site for 30 days.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• NIMS/ICS All-Hazards training or credentials.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for travel within 24–72 hours and deployed for 30 days across the United States.
• Understand how jurisdictions coordinate during large-scale incidents.
• Provide summary products for leadership.
• Research complex issues and present outcomes to supervisors or audiences.
• Coordinate incident objectives with agencies and ESFs.
• Remain calm and focused under deadlines.
