Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for Inpatient Surgery at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital. This PRN role supports days/afternoons with on-call availability, handling sterile prep, instrument counts, and aseptic technique to assist the surgical team.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Surgical Technology, CST certification, and at least 1 year of perioperative experience, plus BLS. Mercy Health emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing education.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Surgical Technology required.
• 1 year perioperative or related experience preferred.
• Certification as CST/NBSTSA/NCCT required or equivalent.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsabilidades

• Scrub and assist during operative procedures by assembling supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments; conduct instrument counts.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field; assist with drapes and equipment.
• Handle specimens and labeling; communicate with circulator.
• Assist with pre/post-procedure room cleaning and turnover.
• Participate in ongoing education and competency verification.
