Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• One year perioperative experience preferred.
• Associate degree or vocational certificate in Surgical Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as scrub person and assists during procedures by assembling supplies and equipment.
• Prepares sterile supplies and performs surgical counts with circulating RN.
• Maintains sterile field and aseptic technique; provides instruments to team.
• Retrieves and labels specimens appropriately and reports implanted devices.
• Assists with pre and post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and equipment.
