Responsibilities

• Crisis intervention, screening, and assessment services to victims of domestic violence, including intake into residential services.
• Provides advocacy support as needed; may serve as a liaison between local agencies and clients on an emergency basis.
• Track client progress notes.
• Interacts with clients and resolves disputes using mediation skills.
• Responsible for proper safety precautions and security procedures.
• Understands trauma informed care and how to use it in crisis situations.
