Job summary

Synergy Services seeks a Client Advocate for our Domestic Violence Center to provide advocacy and crisis intervention for clients in shelter. You will handle intake, safety planning, and community-building activities, coordinating with staff to meet individual needs.

The role includes supervising volunteers, maintaining documentation, and participating in trainings to meet licensing requirements. Evening and day shifts available with stated shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or comparable human service field.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Bilingual Spanish-English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes intake and discharge paperwork for clients in shelter.
• Teaches basic life skills to clients and addresses individual needs.
• Provides advocacy and assistance with meeting case management goals.
• Provides transportation for clients as needed.
• Dispenses medications to clients according to med tech certification guidelines.
• Maintains accurate documentation and client records.
• Attends trainings and meetings to meet licensing requirements.
• Maintains a clean environment and assists with shelter operations.
