Job summary

Groundworks New Mexico is seeking an Advocate to provide trauma-informed crisis intervention and life skills coaching for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. This role includes participating in a rotating on-call schedule for the crisis hotline and responding to in-person crises within 15–30 minutes.

The ideal candidate will have strong crisis intervention skills and experience collaborating in a team-based environment. Knowledge of conflict resolution practices and experience working with diverse populations are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in crisis situations, including intervention and de-escalation.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment.
• Strong organizational skills to complete required documentation on time.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual life skills training to clients.
