Job summary

Foundation Partners Group seeks a Transfer Care Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for families, safely transporting the deceased from hospitals, nursing homes, or residences to the funeral home with compassion and professionalism.

You must be at least 21 years old, able to lift 100 lbs, have a valid state-issued driver’s license, and be comfortable with irregular hours, including nights and weekends, while representing the company with empathy.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to lift 100 lbs safely
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Composure and compassion

Responsibilities

• Transport the decedent from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner’s offices to the funeral home
• Maintain professional demeanor and provide compassionate service to families
• Navigate local roads under varying conditions and times, using GPS/directions apps
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time per laws and regulations
• Work irregular hours as needed (on-call), including nights and weekends
• Washing vehicles and other duties as assigned
