Job summary

Foundation Partners Group is hiring a Transfer Care Specialist who serves as families' first contact, helping transport the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home with compassion and composure.

You must be at least 21, able to lift 100 lbs, have a valid state driver's license with a clean record, and be comfortable working irregular hours, including nights and weekends to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100lbs safely.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Composure and compassion.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply feedback with a positive attitude.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support and direct Families to resources during transfer of the decedent.
• Safely transport decedents, navigate roads, and use GPS or directions.
• Work irregular hours including nights and weekends; fill in for other staff as needed.
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely per laws and regulations.
• Receive instructions, determine task order, and complete them promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and assist with other duties as needed.
