Job summary

foundationpartners is seeking a Transfer Care Specialist to serve families as the first point of contact during decedent transfers from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home.

The role requires a compassionate, calm demeanor, the ability to lift 100lbs, and a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record. MS Office proficiency is expected to document and coordinate transfer processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and empathetic guidance to families upon arrival and departure for decedent transfer.
• Safely transport and navigate local roads with attention to safety and timeliness.
• Be available for irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and fill in for staff as needed (hearse driving as required).
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner per laws and regulations.
• Receive tasks and determine the optimal order to complete them promptly.
• Maintain a neat, presentable appearance and assist with additional duties as needed such as vehicle washing.
