Job summary

Foundation Partners is seeking a Transfer Care Specialist to act as the first point of contact for families, coordinating transport of the decedent from facilities to the funeral home.

The role requires composure under pressure, the ability to lift 100 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work on-call including nights and weekends. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintaining professional appearance are expected to support regulatory paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Respectfully answer questions and direct Families to appropriate resources for transfer of the decedent.
• Navigate local roads and highways to transport the decedent safely; familiarity with GPS.
• Work on-call shifts, including nights and weekends; drive hearse as needed.
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely per laws and regulations.
• Receive instructions for multiple tasks, determine proper order, and complete promptly.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and assist with other duties as needed (e.g., washing vehicles).
