Job summary

Foundation Partners Group is seeking a Transfer Care Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for families while transferring decedents from hospitals, nursing homes, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home. You must remain composed and compassionate in challenging situations and be at least 21 with a valid license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 100 lbs safely.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and feedback with a positive attitude.
Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate guidance to families and direct them to resources upon arrival and departure for transfer of the decedent.
Navigate local roads safely to transfer decedents between facilities and to the funeral home.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and fill in for staff when needed.
Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely per relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, and assist with related duties such as washing vehicles.
