Job summary

Foundation Partners Group is seeking a compassionate Transfer Care Specialist to help families by coordinating the transfer of decedents from facilities or residences to the funeral home. You will represent the funeral home with professionalism and calm in challenging situations, ensuring safe transport and accurate paperwork.

This role requires you to be 21+, able to lift 100 lbs, and possess a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to lift 100 lbs safely.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong compassion and communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with feedback.

Responsibilities

• Transport the decedent from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home.
• Provide compassionate, professional assistance to families during transfers.
• Maintain composure in challenging situations and communicate clearly.
• Follow laws, regulations, and paperwork requirements accurately.
• Be willing to work irregular hours including nights and weekends (on-call).
• Perform related tasks such as vehicle washing as needed.
