Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician for Edwardsville Village in Edwardsville, KS. You will perform general grounds and lawn maintenance along with basic repairs to homes owned by the community, working a full-time 40-hour week.

You will handle work orders, interact professionally with residents, and assist with refurbishing community-owned homes. A minimum of 2 years’ maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Benefits include health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience
• Valid operator’s license with good driving record
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• On-call availability may be required
• Experience with basic home repairs and community upkeep

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to keep homes and community areas in proper condition.
• Execute work orders and report status to the Community Manager promptly.
• Interact with residents, prospects, visitors and employees in a courteous, attentive manner.
• Identify deficiencies and act with Community Manager approval.
• Manicure community grounds; weed control, planting, mulching, trimming shrubs, and general lawn care.
• Remove garbage from grounds and resident sites to maintain appearance.
• Perform snow removal using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain maintenance and grounds equipment and supplies inventory.
• Comply with health and safety laws to protect residents and staff.
• Assist in refurbishing community-owned homes.
• Repair and maintain water and sewer lines.
