Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician for Brittany Place and Meadowood communities in Topeka, Kansas. The role involves general grounds and lawn maintenance and basic home repairs across 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, interacting with residents courteously, and ensuring grounds and equipment are well kept. A driver’s license and prior maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to keep homes and common areas in proper condition.
• Execute work orders and report status to Community Manager promptly.
• Interact with residents and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Identify deficiencies and take action with Community Manager approval.
• Maintain community grounds: weed control, lawn care, planting, and trimming.
• Dispose of garbage from grounds and resident sites; manage housekeeping.
