Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Edwardsville Village in Edwardsville, Kansas. The role involves performing general grounds and lawn maintenance, plus basic repairs to homes owned by the community, for a 40-hour workweek.

You will execute work orders, communicate with the Community Manager, and help keep the community well-maintained, including seasonal snow removal and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid operator’s license and a good driving record.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and carpentry.
• May need to provide own tools.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to keep homes and community areas in good condition.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to Community Manager.
• Maintain grounds, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, trim hedges, and manage lawn care.
• Remove garbage from grounds and resident sites; operate snow removal equipment in season.
• Assist in refurbishing community-owned homes and manage inventories of tools and supplies.
