Job summary

R&R Realty Group is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician to support maintenance of our West Des Moines properties and surrounding areas. You will perform hands-on upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds and coordinate vendor work as needed.

The role is full-time and requires the ability to manage maintenance tasks, documentation, and on-call coverage to ensure uptime across our portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years related maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform general building maintenance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs maintenance and alterations of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities.
• Complete all documentation within 24 hours with follow-up plan if needed.
• Snow removal at assigned properties with timely deadlines.
• Direction and coordination of vendor projects.
• Drive to assigned properties as directed; provide weekend/after-hours on-call coverage.
