Job summary

PACS in Billings, MT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, and collaborate with nurses to maintain a safe, comforting environment.

This role requires CNA licensure, basic reading/writing skills, and the ability to follow policies. CPR is preferred. You will document care, monitor residents, and report changes to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th-grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and communicate with managers and employees.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident care plan.
• Identify residents before treatments and meals; use authorized abbreviations.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality of protected health information.
• Assist with daily activities and mobility; help with meals and transportation as needed.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous chemicals.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and examinations; assist with transfers and admissions.
