Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician for an on-call role at the USCIS ASC site in Dover, DE. This casual position supports daily operations with no guaranteed schedule and requires flexibility for five-day availability, typically 7:45am–4:15pm.

Responsibilities include biometric data capture, visitor screening, and front-line customer service while safeguarding PII. Must meet credential requirements, be able to stand, type, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required for facility credentials/authorization.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand for scheduled shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp applicant’s hands to obtain fingerprints.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment with the public.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure all who enter the ASC are approved applicants and visitors while providing crowd control and enforcing rules.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Safeguard Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and maintain facility security.
