Job summary

The Westin Tempe is looking for an On-Call Banquet Houseperson to join our Banquet Team. This role involves setup, breakdown and servicing of meeting spaces around the rooftop pool and cabanas, with a focus on friendly and professional guest service.

Requires strong English communication, a team player attitude, and the ability to lift heavy objects. On-call shifts include mornings and evenings, with weekend and holiday availability, and opportunities to grow within Crescent Hotels & Resorts.

• Able to work with a team in a hospitality setting.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required.
• Ability to interact with guests in a courteous, friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Setup, breakdown, and servicing of meeting rooms and spaces.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to guests around rooftop pool and cabanas.
• Assist with food and beverage service as part of the banquet team.
• Assist co-workers with duties and lift/move equipment up to 100 lbs.
