Job summary

The Westin Tempe is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to join our banquet team. You will greet guests, provide prompt service, and assist with setup, service, and breakdown of events in accordance with Crescent and Westin Tempe standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and safety of equipment, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and supporting coworkers as a team player in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Able to communicate well with guests and coworkers.
• Be a team player and willing to pitch in.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Ability to recall and promote menu items.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and operate beverage equipment.
