Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking an On-Call Banquet Houseperson for The Westin Tempe to support our banquet team. The role requires availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays, and involves setting up, breaking down, and servicing meeting spaces around the rooftop pool and cabanas.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English and provide friendly, professional service.
• Self-starting with a positive, even disposition.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to lift/move heavy objects up to 100 lbs and 500 lbs with assistance.
• Must be a team player and willing to help co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Setup, breakdown, and servicing of all meeting rooms and spaces.
• Serve food and beverages around rooftop pool and cabanas in a friendly, timely manner.
• Assist with room setups according to event requirements and guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas during events.
