The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking a courteous Banquet Server to set up banquet rooms, serve food and beverages, and uphold Crescent’s standards of quality at the San Francisco area location.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the supervisor, greeting guests, serving courses, resetting rooms between functions, and ensuring safety and compliance with state and hotel policies. Good English communication, teamwork, and knowledge of service ware are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs and operate beverage equipment.

Responsabilités

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Supervisor, including linen, service ware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve food/beverage in the prescribed order and keep service consistent throughout the function.
• Reset the banquet room after completion to be ready for the next function.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
