Job summary

Crescent Hotels is seeking a banquet server to set up banquet rooms, greet guests, and serve food and beverages in a courteous, professional manner. You will attend pre-event briefings, follow supervisors’ instructions, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining Crescent standards.

The role requires English communication, teamwork, and knowledge of serviceware and etiquette. You will work on site, supporting multiple functions with a focus on quality and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English and maintain a professional appearance.
• Team oriented with willingness to assist coworkers and guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed, including linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to review function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests, respond to requests, and maintain courteous service.
• Serve food/beverages per supervisor directions and clear dishes promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal and corporate alcohol-service requirements.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction; reset room after events.
• Maintain safety by following labeling and handling procedures; assist with cleanup as needed.
