Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a guest-focused Banquet Server in San Francisco to support set-up and service of food and beverages at banquet events under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Manager.

You will maintain knowledge of F&B offerings, set up stations, ensure timely service, and uphold Sonesta standards. Strong communication in English and a friendly demeanor are essential; prior hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Enter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of all Food and Beverage offerings.
• Set up stations and mise-en-place for events.
• Provide warm, caring service to guests.
• Set up events within the required time.
• Maintain equipment and area clean and organized.
• Maintain communication with team members and guests.
• Perform all other duties as requested.
