Olympia Hospitality seeks a Banquet Server to provide exceptional service for events and banquets. You will assist with setup, greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals and beverages while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks during busy events, ensuring guests have a positive experience and the venue runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience serving and setting up banquets preferred.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of banquet rooms and event spaces according to event specifications.
• Ensure equipment, utensils, and silverware are clean, polished, and properly arranged; set up audiovisual equipment and lighting.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort to tables, and assist seating as needed.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, using suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items or upgrades.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, following established service standards and presentation guidelines.
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide personalized service and attention to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Clear tables, remove used dishes, replenish supplies during the event to keep dining area tidy.
• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks, including removing linens and dismantling decorations.
• Complete post-event cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards in banquet areas.
