Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an on-call Banquet Server to support banquet functions in Novi, MI. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down event spaces, serving food and beverages, greeting guests, and ensuring high standards of service throughout each function.

Applicants should have knowledge of liquor regulations, hold a valid Food Handler Card, and possess strong English communication and guest-relations skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic English language proficiency for inquiries and simple instructions.
• Ability to remember menu items and provide courteous guest service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet spaces as described in event orders.
• Greet guests and serve food and beverages in a friendly, professional manner.
• Bus dishes and replenish beverages; ensure guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet rooms between functions and prepare for next event.
• Perform side work and maintain cleanliness and safety per standards.
