The Westin Annapolis is seeking an On Call Banquet Server to assist the Banquet Manager in serving guests during events, ensuring a positive guest experience. The role involves setting up banquet spaces, greeting guests, serving courses, clearing dishes, and resetting rooms between functions, while complying with alcohol service rules and safety policies.

Formación

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers.
• Knowledge of food & beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings and serviceware.
• Ability to follow written product labeling instructions for safe application.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings to learn function particulars and expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages as directed to ensure consistency.
• Promptly remove dishes and reset room after functions.
• Comply with state, federal and corporate alcohol-service rules.
• Replenish beverages and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Work as part of a team and be available for regular shifts.
