Job summary

Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to assist the banquet team in delivering exceptional guest experiences during events at the Inner Harbor location.

Your responsibilities include setting up rooms, greeting guests, serving food and beverages, replenishing drinks, and resetting the space between functions, while adhering to hotel standards and all applicable regulations. This role is on-call with flexible hours and a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be a team player and able to pitch in with coworkers.
• Knowledge of food/beverage service standards and guest etiquette.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room per Supervisor instructions (linen, serviceware, glassware).
• Attend roll call, greet guests, and respond to requests politely.
• Serve food/beverage and clear dishes to maintain consistency.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction during events.
• Reset room for next function and adhere to safety/regulatory requirements.
• Be available for regular on-call shifts and perform other duties as assigned.
