Job summary

The McCormick Scottsdale, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Banquet Server (on-call) to deliver exceptional guest service during weddings, meetings, and events in Scottsdale, AZ. You will help set up, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest needs are met with professionalism and attentiveness.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, a guest-focused mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding food safety standards and brand expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, professional and team-oriented; follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and service standards.
• Greet guests professionally and provide courteous service during events.
• Serve food and beverages in a friendly, efficient manner and maintain knowledge of items.
• Clear tables, monitor guest satisfaction, and respond to requests promptly.
• Assist with buffet replenishment and event lead cooperation with kitchen staff.
• Breakdown spaces after events and ensure equipment is stored properly.
