Job summary

The Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking an On-Call Banquets Server to deliver professional, attentive food and beverage service in a fast-paced banquet setting. You will uphold Marriott and hotel standards while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Minimum 1 year in hospitality is required; banquet/F&B experience is preferred. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hospitality experience required.
• Banquet and/or food and beverage experience preferred.
• Experience in a hotel, resort, banquet, or upscale hospitality environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet and event rooms according to specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware, glassware, and service items.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and review event details, guest expectations, menus, and service standards.
• Greet and interact with guests professionally and warmly, providing attentive service.
• Serve food and beverages according to the BEO and established service standards.
• Maintain timing and presentation of service throughout the event.
• Replenish beverages and service items as needed and anticipate guest needs.
• Clear and reset tables, assist with breakdown and cleanup after each function.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hotel safety standards.
