Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards.
• Guest relations and etiquette.
• Appropriate table settings and serviceware; ability to promote menu items.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event and supervisor specifications.
• Prepare tables with linens, serviceware, glassware, and other items.
• Attend pre-event roll call meetings to learn important details about each function.
• Understand guest expectations, hotel expectations, event timelines, and service requirements before each event.
• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Respond to guest questions and requests promptly and courteously.
• Serve food and beverages according to the event's service plan and supervisor direction.
• Maintain consistency in service throughout the event.
• Reset banquet rooms after events according to supervisor specifications.
